I was very honored to be asked by Matt and Deb to photograph their wedding last month and very excited at the prospect of it. When I first met with them in August they told me they didn’t want the ‘traditional’ type photos with lots of posed formal groups shots, which suited me perfectly. The day of the wedding could not have been more perfect, it was a fresh September day and the autumn sun was shining. The ceremony was at the beautiful Speke Hall followed by drinks on the lawn afterwards. After this the guests were whisked off by coach to the amazing CUC centre where their reception was held in the Mezzanine bar. Deb had wanted a vintage theme throughout her wedding, and both her and Matt had been spending a lot of time before the wedding collecting various vintage goodies to decorate the room.
After the meal and speeches everyone had a dance and it wasn’t until later on in the evening that Matt & Deb had their first dance, it wasn’t any traditional slow one either, they were bopping around all over the place to Tina Turner’s ‘Rolling Like a River’.
The venue, the decor, the food, the music, the guests and particularly the bride & groom were amazing. Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your beautiful day!
